Canon A-1

This is the Canon A-1. It was released in 1978, selling for about $400. It holds historical significance, as it is the first SLR to offer an electronically controlled programmed autoexposure mode. While it was criticized by many, the move towards automation by canon turned out to be very profitable. The camera is now obviously showing it's age, but is still regarded as one of the most fascinating SLRs of its generation and many are still in regular use... And I picked it up for $30, with UV filter and metal lens cap included.
