your eyes are viewing the stylish instamatic x-35, produced by kodak from 1970 to 1976. this little guy was dated 8/9/72... best thing about this find- it was only $5 and it works. :) so, now i just have to get a battery and throw some film in it and see what's what.

it uses it for the auto exposure... but it's a px-30 battery, and i'm not having much luck finding a substitute. :(

WOW an Instamatic with auto exposure I have a few Instamatics  but of the cheaper type lol
I found an  artical which maybe of use to you www.instructables.com/id/Insta…

it says "Substitute two G13 button cells for PX-30 battery. Shim with shiny pennies."
I dont know if it will work .....

haha that's awesome! i just read that very article the other day. i may give it a try, but those batteries and the pennies themselves look too small to work out. but we'll see. thank you though for taking the time to help me out. :)

I have a small collection of Kodak cameras (also Ilford) in my cameras folder but all my Instamatics are batteryless
